Looking for Group Study & Collaboration? Try AirPlay in the Library

students_airplay

If you are looking to collaborate, share or just get some feedback on something you are working on in class, look no further than the group study areas on the main floor of the Law Library. Tucked away behind the circulation area, to the left of the stairs at the Annex-end of the reading room you will find four large tables with comfortable booth-style seating. Two of the four tables feature AirPlay connectivity for pairing your devices with the wall-mounted screens and displaying websites, documents, and anything else you want to pull up for classmates. Outlets in all four booths allow for charging devices while you work, and the size of the tables allows for spreading out all sorts of materials be they law school books, laptop computers, notebooks or drinks.*

So the next time you and your friends are trying to decide where to get your group study on, remember this area. Seating is limited! If you have any questions or issues about connecting to the screens, contact the I.T. Help Desk at (706) 542-0895 or lawit@listserv.uga.edu

*Don’t forget, even in this area of the library food is not allowed, and drinks must be in a container with a lid.
