Slavery by Another Name

Slavery by Another NameDouglas A. Blackmon, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Slavery by Another Name: The Re-Enslavement of Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II, will be speaking today, April 2 at 4 p.m. in the Larry Walker Room on the fourth floor of Dean Rusk Hall.

His book was adapted into a 90-minute documentary film Slavery by Another Name that premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival before being broadcast on PBS. You can find it in the Law Library Documentary DVD Collection at E185.2 .S53 2012!
