America’s Forgotten Constitutions

This Friday, April 25, the only surviving signed manuscript of the permanent Constitution of the Confederate States of America will be displayed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UGA Richard B. Russell Jr. Building Special Collections Libraries. Displayed only one day each year due to its fragility, it is a rare chance to see an important legal document from U.S. history.
