59 previously unreleased Beatles songs were made commercially available today. Is there a big demand for these BBC and studio sessions outtakes from 1963? Probably not, but due to European Union copyright law only recordings released within 50 years of being made qualify for an additional 20 year extension. Today’s release will keep these recordings from entering the public domain for a while longer.
