Trading Spaces at the Main Library

UGA Libraries are currently renovating several spaces within the Main Library building. This necessitates some “musical chairs” shifting of collections to temporary spaces.

Here are the latest moves:

  • The Main Library Reference collection is now shelved temporarily on the second floor.
  • The British and Georgia documents collections have been moved from the 2nd floor to the subbasement.  The US documents collection remains on the 2nd floor.  Until their new space is open to the public, users can request British, UN and Georgia documents at the Main Library Reference desk, which is now located on the 2nd floor with the US documents.

Check back for more updates as the work over there continues!
